The gt5000 is rated at 6000 ansi lumens, 1024×768 native resolution, 1600×1200 (max), will operate with ibm & mcintosh and features dvi-d. Lamp life is rated at 1500 hours. The gt5000 is perfect for business use as well as home entertainment. Our standard testing procedure for lcd and dlp projectors is as follows. Using a test signal generator we input ntsc and rgb signal and observe color bars and a white screen to evaluate image quality, color and any dust particles or pixel drop-outs that may be present on the internal lcd panels or dlp mirrors. Lamp hour usage is retrieved and noted when available. Rated voltage: 100-240, 50/60hz (internal switch set at 120v). Lamp hours used: 476 (each of the two lamps). Includes a gt20zl lens, road case w/casters, remote and power cord.
This projector tested well and its image looks good aside from some light yellow near the left-center (only noticed with an all black image). Pixel drop-outs were not detected.
The exterior has some scratches and marks, the lens surround is missing both screws, a side panel screw is missing, and the lens has a small scratch on the front (does not affect lens), but this item looks good otherwise. The case has a small puncture/crack in its lid.
